Call of the Forest will be screening across Canada starting March 4th in Guelph, Ontario. The film is a five-year labour of love from our team and we are very happy to be premiering the film in Canada! Diana Beresford-Kroeger’s vision of a united effort to protect and replant the global forest is the unifying theme of this film and it has never been more important than it is now. With carbon levels on the rise, the United States moving to abandon EPA standards for greenhouse gas emissions, and unprecedented levels of global warming, we all need to do our part and act now.
This “love letter” to the forest will introduce you to some of the passionate people who are working to research, conserve, and replant northern forests around the planet. It is our hope that you will experience this film as a life-affirming walk through the global forest and come away with ideas for protecting and replanting forests in your own back yards.
